New Delhi: NDA Announces C.P. Radhakrishnan as Candidate for Vice President
The NDA has formally announced its candidate for the upcoming Vice President election. Senior BJP leader from Tamil Nadu and current Governor of Maharashtra, C.P. Radhakrishnan, has been chosen for this important role.
Radhakrishnan is an experienced politician who began his political journey with the RSS and Jan Sangh. He has served two terms as MP from Coimbatore and was the Tamil Nadu BJP president from 2003 to 2006. He has also held several key organizational responsibilities. After serving as the Governor of Jharkhand, he is presently working as the Governor of Maharashtra.
The announcement of his name by the NDA is being seen as politically significant, especially as part of the party’s strategy to expand its influence in South India.
