India Gate Illuminated with Over a Lakh Diyas, Ramayana Depicted in the Sky through Drones, City Turns Divine

New Delhi – In a historic first, Kartavya Path in the heart of Delhi witnessed a magnificent Deepotsav celebration, where Chief Minister Rekha Gupta joined thousands of citizens to celebrate Diwali with grandeur and spiritual fervour.

CM Rekha Gupta stated:

“This Diwali is special for Delhi as, for the first time, millions of lamps have been lit on Kartavya Path. This symbolizes public devotion and cultural pride.”

A spectacular drone show above India Gate depicted episodes from the Ramayana, including visuals of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Ravan.
This transformative moment made the city feel divine and spiritually vibrant.

Key highlights of the event included:

• 1,51,000 diyas illuminating the iconic stretch

• A breathtaking drone depiction of Ram Katha

• Cultural performances showcasing India’s heritage

CM Gupta said:

“Just like Ayodhya lit up when Lord Ram returned from exile, today Delhi lights up with the presence of the BJP government and the spirit of Diwali.”

She emphasized that this celebration would be remembered as Delhi’s first official Deepotsav, marking the beginning of a new tradition for the capital.
